Nate Gagliano, Co-Owner
The son of two hard-working schoolteachers, Nate grew up in Buffalo, Wyoming. Always fascinated with the why and the how things work, he studied HVAC/R at Southeast Technical Institute and earned his Associate certification in 2000. Since then, he’s worked on everything from complete residential plumbing and heating to programming commercial boiler and chiller systems. Currently, Nate leads our commercial team and is NATE certified (North American Technician Excellence); he’s also EPA and BPI certified (Environmental Protection Agency and Building Performance Institute). He, his wife Lisa and their son Connor love to ski, hike, camp and kayak. They live in Laporte, CO.
What’s Nate got for his HVAC system at home?
“I’ve geeked out a little bit at home. My system is the best you can buy, an Infinity set-up, that’s fully automated, super quiet, really efficient and incredibly comfortable. I’ve got it tied into my outside lights and sprinkler system. There’s an alarm running from the mechanical room to my bedroom, so I’m sure to notice if there’s ever a water leak, unusual condensation or my well pump fails… my buddies laughed at me at first, but now they’re all envious. Like I told my wife, our home is our sanctuary. Our safe zone, so I designed a system that lives up to that need. My son, who’s still in grade school, rarely has any colds, and my wife and I no longer worry about dust or allergies. Our energy bills are really low, even in Colorado’s cold snaps and heat waves. And after a long day out on the job, what can I say? I love coming home to this system.”
